Getting To & Around Yangshuo
High-speed rail to Yangshuo station, the Li River ferry from Guilin, and e-bikes for the karst countryside.
Arriving
Yangshuo station (on the Guiyang–Guangzhou HSR line) is 25 km from town — a shuttle bus meets every train. From Guilin, the Li River cruise (4 hours) is the scenic arrival.
Getting around
Yangshuo town is small and walkable. For the countryside — the karst peaks, the river bends and the villages — rent an e-bike (¥50/day) or a scooter. Taxis are scarce outside town.
To Xingping
The famous river bend and the raft docks are in Xingping, 25 km east — a shuttle bus or a 40-minute e-bike ride.
Taxis & ride-hailing
DiDi works in town; outside, arrange rides through your hotel. Few drivers speak English.
Locals' Tip
Rent an e-bike — it's the only way to reach the karst backroads and river bends that the shuttle buses skip.
